The speech therapy is conducted individually with a professional speech therapist and in groups with trained teachers during our weekly program. Individual sessions take place every week. During these sessions, our speech therapist spends time with the student and provides the necessary therapeutic care. This includes thinking and communication skill development, deliberate attention, the development of sensory perception, logical thinking, exercising the vocal organs, the development of fine motor skills, etc. Each child has their own exercise book with pictures and rhymes to take home and practice with their parents.
Preschool – parents cooperation and communication is very important for us. An environment that is enjoyable for children, parents and educators is the basis of a happy and fulfilled childhood. Our goal is to be a school of cheerful, motivated and smiling children while having mutual trust and cooperation is also very important to us.
Mgr. Eva Kolesová
Speech therapistMrg. Eva Kolesová is a clinical speech therapist with an eleven years of experience in the subject. She has both worked with children and adults. She worked in a hospital in Vyškov, but she also worked with adult patients in a Neurology department, Phoniatrics department and she also spent a lot of time with kids with combined disabitities. Besides mentioned she has her own online speech therapy advice service www.logopedieonline.cz and she established a private advice center in Prague 5.
Eva Kolesová is a head speech therapist in Motýlek preschool. As a part of this job she makes an individual diagnostics of speech problems, makes an individual therapeutical plan for each child etc. She is in a contact with parents to discuss the process and the techniques used in weekly sessions. If needed, she recommends other specialists´ help ( i.e. psychologist, neurologist ) and provides the parents with contact information and the child´s individual report.
Adéla Dolečková
Speech therapistMy name is Adéla Dolečková and I work as a speech therapist. Besides the Speech therapy I also graduated from the Special Pedagogy. This knowledge I use a lot in my profession. I am always trying to be empathetic. It is very important for me to make a friendly connection both with kids and their parents. I would like the children to be looking forward to the speech therapy and enjoy the lessons. I take each child as in individual. Every progress and success makes me happy. It is the best feedback I can get. I am happy I have a job that is also my hobby.
